Is the gold used in your pottery real?

Absolutely! Every piece of pottery at Apricity Ceramics is adorned with genuine 22k gold. I handpaint each rim with a liquid form of gold made special for ceramics, and for other intricate designs, I use real gold screenprinted decals.

Can I customize my order?

While I don't offer extensive customization options, I'm always open to hearing your ideas. Reach out to me, and let's see what we can create together!

How should I care for my pottery?

Your handmade pottery is special, so treat it with love! Handwashing is best to preserve the delicate gold accents. Avoid the microwave and dishwasher to keep your pieces looking their best for years to come. Please note, the gold luster used in our pottery is not microwave safe.

Do you ever offer sales or discounts?

While I understand the allure of a good sale, my handmade items are priced to reflect the time, effort, and materials that goes into creating them, so I don't offer discounts on my work.

However, once a year, I do announce a special sale exclusively to subscribers of my email list. If you want to stay in the loop for future sales, be sure to sign up! Rest assured, if I ever offer a sale, my email subscribers will be the first to know.

Do you make everything yourself?


Apricity Ceramics is a one-woman show, and every piece is a labor of love from start to finish. That means I roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty—I'm talking literally! I I personally mix my clay from raw materials, and formulate my own unique glazes through experimentation,

It's a hands-on process that I'm passionate about, even if it means a bit of mess along the way. But that's just part of the craft!

Orders and Shipping

What is your turnaround time?

Fun fact: whether it's a small ring dish or a large planter, each piece takes roughly the same amount of time to make here at Apricity Ceramics.

It takes one to two days to make an item, three days for it to dry, one day in a bisque kiln, one day to glaze, one day to glaze fire, one day to luster, and one day to luster fire.

That’s a lot of days for just one item!

Because of this, turnaround time for made-to-order items are anywhere from three to eight weeks. Please contact me if you would like to know exactly how long your specific order will take.

For website updates, please allow up to 2 weeks for me to pack your order.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

At this time I do not accept cancellations, but if you need your order sent to a different address, please just reach out via email and Im happy to change it for you!

Does your packing material contain any plastic?

Over the years, I've mastered the art of packing pottery without using any plastic bubble wrap.

I'm all about eco-friendly packaging, so I stick to materials that are biodegradable and recyclable. Your order will be wrapped up snugly with hexcelwrap and packing paper, making sure your pottery arrives safe and sound while keeping things green.

Can I choose my preferred shipping carrier?

Of course!

During the checkout process, you can select your preferred shipping carrier—typically either USPS or UPS. Software calculates the shipping costs and its based on factors like package size, weight, and destination.

However, if you have a specific preference, feel free to reach out to us before shipment, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request.

What should I do if my package doesn't arrive or arrives damaged?

Ever order includes tracking info, but sometimes things do get lost in transit or arrive in destroyed boxes.

If there is an issue with your tracking number, you haven't received your package within the estimated delivery timeframe or if it arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible. I'll work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your order or a replacement.

Do you accept returns?

I firmly stand behind the quality of my products and therefore do not accept returns.

However, we're all human—mistakes can happen. If there was an error with your order, such as the wrong number of items or variant selected, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'll do my best to address any issues and ensure you're satisfied with your purchase.


Do you offer customization options for wholesale orders?

While I primarily offer our standard product line for wholesale purchases, I'm open to discussing customization options for larger orders.

What payment methods do you accept for wholesale orders?

I accept various payment methods for wholesale orders, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. Payment terms may vary depending on your account status and order volume.

Also, I offer net 30 to businesses who have ordered more then 3 times with me.

Can I order custom decals for my order?

While I don't offer custom gold decals at this time, I'm happy to accommodate full-color decal customization for wholesale orders. Reach out to discuss your specific requirements, and let's create something special together!
